RESIDENTMAIL @ NORTHBOURNE HAS NOW BEEN TERMINATED

We would like to inform all users of ResidentsMail @ Northbourne that we are closing the email service that is provided to you by Northbourne & Windows Live.

The reason for the cancellation is we have discovered and been informed that visitors are registering for ResidentsMail and abusing the system by sending spam, and inappropriate emails.

We would like to apologise to the genuine users of the system that will loose their email service, we are looking into other ways for our residents’ to take advantage of a personalised email account.

Users that are using ResidentsMail @ Northbourne have until the 10th August 2010 to inform people that your email account is being closed. Please save any emails/documents you have on your account, as we do not have access to this data.

Again Northbourne Action Group apologises for the inconvenience that this will cause.

Wheelie Bin Scam

Over the last few weeks there have been reports from around Farnham, Godalming, Witley and Milford about a male calling door to door offering wheelie bin cleaning services.

This male offers to clean bins after they have been emptied and asks for £20 to cover a number of cleanings. The male then does not return to clean bins and offers a range of excuses why he is not able to carry out the work.

Unfortunately, the male is plausible and very pleasant, and gives a home address in Horsell, Woking.

He has provided documentation stating that Waverley Borough Council has given approval for his work, which is not true as Waverley do not endorse specific traders.

He also carries a piece of paper which he claims is signed by a Surrey Police officer. This is also a fake document, as Waverley do not approve traders to operate.

This male is already under investigation by Surrey trading standards, and the Police in Woking.

Today we have launched the next edition to the Northbourne Site, you can now browse our site on mobile devices including Apple iPad.

It is still the full version of the website just in a more mobile friendly layout. Which you can comment, follow our tweets and much more.
